AST-171789 Remove dormant nightly release workflow - #497
Merged
Conversation
nightly.yml's push trigger was already commented out, leaving it reachable only via manual dispatch. Release automation across the plugin estate is moving to manual workflow_dispatch gated by the `release` environment, making this workflow redundant. release.yml remains reachable via its own workflow_dispatch/workflow_call triggers. Note: this also removes the only automated cleanup of the 1.0.0-SNAPSHOT release and tag, so any existing stale one will need to be removed manually. nightly.yml push trigger was already disabled, leaving it dormant. Release automation is moving to manual dispatch gated by the
releaseenvironment, so this workflow is no longer needed; release.yml stays reachable on its own dispatch/call triggers.Note: this drops the only automated cleanup of the 1.0.0-SNAPSHOT release/tag, so any existing stale one needs manual removal.
