Can't create alert rule with quickwit on a non-numeric series of values

Hello !
I'm trying to create an alert on Grafana using quickwit.
My query is working well in the explorer but when it comes to alerting, it does not work because input data must be a wide series field such as Loki do if I understand well.
The exact error I get is : [sse.readDataError] [A] got error: input data must be a wide series but got type long (input refid)
Is there a way to do it and where can I find it ?

I'm using the version 0.4.5
I achieved to bypass the issue using the Metric Query Type but in the end I do not have the logs sample in the alert / payload so this is not the best way to do so.

@afreyermuth98 I had a look at it, and right now, I don't see a solution unfortunately. For the alert to work, we need to return numeric values (I looked at this issue: (https://community.grafana.com/t/failed-to-evaluate-queries-and-expressions-input-data-must-be-a-wide-series-but-got-type-long-input-refid/90396)

If you find an Grafana example that works, I will have a second look at it.

What do you want exactly ?
To do so with Loki and make all my alerts work, I'm using count_over_time on the Loki query so what I would want to have with quickwit is the same function to return the logs counted with this function.
Right now I'm using Metric mode with Count to have numeric values but then I don't have the log samples :
