API rate limit exceeded for installation

With Suricata, we get regularly CodeQL action to fail because of Warning: Failed to gather information for telemetry: API rate limit exceeded for installation.

Are we doing something wrong in https://github.com/OISF/suricata/blob/main/.github/workflows/codeql.yml ?

The CodeQL workflow looks fine.  The thing to note is that CodeQL shares Actions rate limits with all the other workflows on the repo, and they seem to have a highly matrixed build.  I'd suggest that you consider running that build through a GitHub app / similar to get a higher rate limit https://docs.github.com/en/actions/reference/limits#commonly-hit-dependent-service-limits

Thanks for the reply, but why is CodeQL is the only one failing due to this rate limit then ?
