no way to reference upper versus lower case letters in a document?

when there is a mark over a capital letter, such as A, I can't seem to reference it. it always jumps to the same mark over a lower case version of the letter. it's possible I missing some configuration in my editor, but I wasn't able to find anything in the documentation.

By default Cursorless normalizes case. This is done because most Talon users have no uppercase letters in their alphabet definition. There is a Cursorless setting for this though:

Unless you have changed that setting uppercase and lowercase letters should be treated the same.

Yeah you shouldn't have cases where cursorless puts the same hat over both a lower and uppercase version of the same letter unless you've already tweaked the setting that @AndreasArvidsson mentioned. Maybe you could provide a screenshot?
